Actress Shares How Dance Prepared Her for Life & Hollywood

Dancer/actor Tiffany Daniels who stars as ‘Trish’ in Nickelodeon’s hit comedy series “That Girl Lay Lay” (New episodes Thursday nights on Nickelodeon). Dancing since she could walk, Tiffany has performed on musical and theatre stages worldwide, along with highly sought-after stints as an LA Laker & LA Charger dancer. 

Tiffany is now dancing her way to the top, having appeared in the Academy Award-winning feature film “LA LA Land,” and starring as “Squeak” in the National Tour of The Color Purple.

Recently featured on FOX 5 “Good Day Atlanta”, Tiffany is available to share her determined Hollywood journey of how she went from a dancer and working at a café on Melrose to breakout theatre roles, national tours, and landing a major television series.

Tiffany’s stage credits include a national tour of the musical Aida, “Squeak” in the 1st National Tour of Oprah Winfrey’s The Color Purple, “Lorraine” in Jerry Mitchell’s production of Hairspray at the Hollywood Bowl and she originated the role of “Liz” in SURF the musical at the Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas.

A trained dancer, Tiffany danced her way to the big screen in the feature films: “LA LA Land”, “Gangster Squad” and “Make your Move”. In “That Girl Lay Lay,” Tiffany Daniels stars as Sadie’s mom, a no-nonsense former college athlete who now works from home writing jingles. Her creative approach to life can often be a little left-of-centre, but there is no doubt that family comes first. The first season of “That Girl Lay Lay” dominated the Netflix top 10 lists after premiering on Nickelodeon in late 2021 and then globally on Netflix in January 2022.
