Women And The LBGTQ+ Community Are Stampeding Into The Metaverse,

Web3, NFTs, Blockchain and FinTech communities have a challenge on their hands integrating the increasing numbers of women and LBGTQ+ community members into what used to be a very male dominated domain. 

One woman leading the charge is Janine Subgang, 24 years, who has a psychology and design background combined with a passion for improving human interaction. 

Janine will be speaking on an expert panel about ‘How NFTs Will Revolutionize Creator DAOs’.

She has been fully down the Web3 ‘rabbit hole’ since July 2022. 

As the Head of Governance and Community at the DLT Lounge, in Canary Wharf, Janine has to delicately manage the Decentralised physical workspace on an entire level of a Tower block and a blockchain ecosystem of 50 companies with 200 staff. 

The DLT Lounge also combines an educational programme and FriDAO, which Janine Co-founded.

Janine’s just got back from the ‘Tech Oscars’ by WLOUNGE in Berlin, winning the Gen Z category for VitaeGum, the Oxford University start-up which she is Co-founder of and Commercial lead. 

She is also an Angel Investor in student start-ups via ASIF Ventures at Amsterdam University, where she studied for her Honours degree in Psychology.
